H2O House Washing
Pressure Cleaning Brisbane
Pressure cleaning has a place when the surface is hard enough to handle it. I use it for concrete, paths, pavers, pool surrounds and similar exterior areas, not for painted house walls.
Where pressure cleaning makes sense
Driveways, pathways, concrete steps, pool surrounds and pavers can become dirty and slippery as mould and grime build up.
On those hard surfaces, controlled pressure helps remove the loosened build-up and restore safer footing.
Why the surface matters
The same pressure that works well on concrete can be too aggressive for paint, render or weatherboard. I choose the method based on the surface rather than using one setting everywhere.
What to expect
I will usually treat affected hard surfaces first, let the solution work, then pressure clean the area and rinse it down.
Older stains, damaged concrete or deep marks may not disappear completely, but the surface should be cleaner and easier to use.
Questions I get asked
Do you pressure clean house walls?
I generally use soft washing for house walls. Higher pressure is kept for hard surfaces that can handle it.
Can pressure cleaning help with slippery concrete?
Yes. Mould and algae on concrete can make it slippery, and pressure cleaning is often the right method once the growth has been treated.
